Why do you write?

I write because I love to read. I've read fabulous books that have left me wanting more. I've read stuff that was crap - but I still felt compelled to read it to the end, just so I'd know what happ...

Beauty's Beholder - More NaNoWriMo - 7 not 6

I learned all about that last year at my old school. The old school where I fit in. Where I had friends and where I knew everyone, where I'd been going to school since kindergarten. The old school where I was popular and where I had a boyfriend. The old school, where I wasn't some outsider moving in where I was neither wanted or where I wanted to be. The new school, where I am now, is Disappointment Cove High School in Disappointment Cove, Missouri. I'm not kidding, that's the name.

She could see him, hear him, smell him, touch him, and in spite of herself, she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to taste him. She felt herself blushing, again.

More Violet

They both knew that even if there was a way for Violet to meet the green-eyed boy, if he wasn't a Nemuritori, they could never be a part of one another's life. It was strictly forbidden and against all the laws of the Nemuritori people. Outsiders weren't welcome in Nemuritori Valley. It was too dangerous; wars had been fought in the past by people trying to obtain the secrets of Fantana de Viata. Even more unsettling was the fact that “Green Eyes” could be from the nearby underground city of Moo… Continue
