Morning sun shone brightly after a restful silent night ducks played gayly, quacking on the pond dressed quickly, grabbed waiting 12-gauge, and ran to toss them a crust of bread. And when that big fat juicy mo-fo came to eat it. I blew off his fuc...

Some good tidbits to nibble on in this piece. “No buck skin way, fat man!" is a cute little gem of dialog and the wisdom of when to worry about what you eat will stick with me. I wonder if you'd resist the urge to sing along if you were sitting i...

Happy Birthday Mark Twain

175 years and still, news of your demise has been greatly exaggerated.

Your perceptions and insights, comments and wit, are as viable today, if not more so. Even after a century you still command a reserved seat on every best-seller list. When the deVinci, Potter, Vamp, romance, horror McNovel fads are long forgotten, you will still hold literature's pinnacle achievement. That's immortality.

Happy Birthday Mark Twain. Thanks for the inspiration. If not for you I would have had to get a real jo… Continue

Ho Ho Humbug

I promised Dean I'd finally reveal the truth about holidays,so here it is. Pay attention y'all, I'm not gonna repeat it.

Ho Ho Humbug

I hate holiday season, all the trimmings, and the greedy consumerism that goes along with it. I’d rather see a tree growing in the forest than dying a decorated death indoors.

Most northern cultures start holiday season with a harvest festival. In the States it's called Thanksgiving. This day celebrates the Pilgrims’ first feast, which they shared with t… Continue

KAWFEEEE!

...The Twain Shall Meet

If you're a Twain fan you'll love it. If not, you will be. A riotous, hilarious, soul-searching romp through the 20th century with the icon of American literature in his unique wit, insight and perspective, as relevant today as they were a hundred years ago. What would Twain say if he were here today? Well, let's put the matter to rest.
"Let not the tongue of idle cavilers dissuade" MT

This is synopsis for back cover, along with reviews. Does it grab your ass or not? any suggestions 'preciated.… Continue

KAWFEEEE!

A Boy and His Bull

The signs all read "ABSOLUTELY NO TRESPASSING, but I never gave 'em no mind, cause in the middle of that pasture was my favorite fishin' hole; been fishin' it most of my life, and besides, that barbed wire was no deterrent to my agile four-foot frame. One day, however, fate caught me by surprise; my line snapped hard, bobber plunked deep, and I knew I had the biggest fish anyone had ever seen, a regular Moby Dick, Old Man and The Sea, a catch those ol' timers rockin' on their porches would be ta… Continue

Hey, Congrats on the Amazon listing. I have to hurry up and find time to curl up and read it. Maybe I'll even get to be the first Amazon reader review. Woot.

Here are a few more from James Blood Ulmer. I've no idea why the titles uploaded in Chinese! This is the sort of sound track I hear for MC Funk's latest characters. The Devil's Got To Burn might have been written for the story. I found Ulmer by accident while doing some research on Piety Street. It was just providence. I love all sorts of music but I think to witness a good sax solo is the next best thing to angel trumpets.

KAWFEEEEEE!: (Is that too many E's?) The only bad rap I'm laying out is anything lately by Eminem. I dig your clarification of humanity and human character though. Phillip is "phucked up" though and I wanted to introduce his warped-ass perspective on life. You're right about the baggage men tote in our society, part of it is because too many Phillip's get attention and not enough KAWFEEEEEEEEEEEEEE's! Hang with the Dude. The story is just beginning... and it doesn't matter, just so you use a .44 Magnum. "Being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?... oh that's right... you can't talk! Sorry about that, asshole!"
