The throng parted, allowing me to reach the cops and I said, "I know how to get through to his inner core because he still loves me in spite of......" The lead detective pulled me aside…See More

After fifteen years, she never thought she would see him again.   "Lucky, is it you? You've grown into a beautiful, young lady," said the tall, lanky woman encased in a black-and-white, polka-dotted sheath with a magenta sash.    Momentarily disoriented, she looked up from the letter and stared into those familiar, deep-set, hazel eyes with the brown dot in the left pupil.    "Dad, I love you and forgive you....for everything,"    "We have some catching up to do so let's grab a table and get…See More

Solly shook with chills in spite of the 100-degree temperature, dropped himself onto the cement bench, reached into his cooler for water, all the while trying to ignore the emaciated figure at his right…

The man came home after his Sunday hockey game with his left arm dangling from its socket. His wife asked what happened? No big deal, he said, I fell and got pushed into the fence but I'm okay. The man went into the bathroom to undress and take a shower but realized he could not remove his shirt--his arm was frozen. He reluctantly called his wife for help and when she saw his face cringed in pain, she said are you going to call the doctor--it looks serious. The man said no I'll be fine and…
