Attraversiamo...

Attraversiamo..but to where. I'm constantly looking for the place where I belong... I read voraciously and have ever open eyes searching for epiphanies and Revelations. The more I look around, the less I desire my stuff; the less contact I have with the world outside my private life, the more I desire even less. My heart and my soul don't seem to dwell here entirely but I can't find where they crossed over. I see beauty here, and I see beauty in my dreams but less and less do I feel the beauty…See More

You haunt my dreams

A thousand times in my mind I see you...and you haven't noticed me but I see your eyes locking with mine in my dreams. A thousand times in my mind I see you...and you're walking toward me, smiling. A thousand times in my mind I feel you...touching me for the first time and the millionth, never able to get enough. A thousand times in my life I see you...meeting my eyes across the room, the road, the miles because we never lose each other. A thousand times in my life I see you...walking but never…See More

Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
I’m finding myself at a crossroads… I’m a single woman with two dogs, a deep love of Christ, an inner voice telling me that my purpose hasn’t been met yet, and less friends than I thought I had a few years ago but the ones I have now are REAL. I have been blessed with so much more than I ever imagined… My kidneys failed when I was 24 and after 6 years of dialysis, I received a transplant in 2005. I learn more about myself every day… I believe in love, peace, second chances, equality, open-minds, diversity, responsibility comes with privilege, and always, always, always being thankful for your blessings. I enjoy doing most anything—spending time with friends and family, any time I’m with animals (animals are crucial in my life), dancing, listening to music, road trips with friends, reading and lately, I’m loving my workouts and Yoga that are helping me to reduce my stress, my weight, and helping me deal with the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Bravely, Proudly, Blessedly

In my dreams tonight were soldiers...some with familiar faces, dead though I know today they were alive. They do their jobs whether on base, at sea, in the desert, or at some foreign outpost... but behind them are spouses, and children left behind to live their lives and share as much as possible over the miles. Those left here are brave... they have a conviction and pride to defend our country and their soldier to anyone who is stupid enough to pick that fight. We defend each… Continue

In memory of a simplicity I never knew

Women are powerful and dangerous...from Eve, to Delilah, to the girlfriend you think your wife doesn't know about. And things were simpler before we needed to know everything in order to feel like we had any power in the world. Before we needed to burn lingerie to prove we were free, we had more freedom in privacy...we had control over our homes, were happier in simpler jobs that we didn't take home, were able to go to college and our mothers were thrilled to pass along the… Continue
