A stagecoach was parked not far from where he stood, his left hand shadowing squinted eyes against the midday sun and the sharp desert sand riding a constant gale. - Jared ran from his writer heritage for many years until he was forced into literary servitude by a gang of ghosts including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Charles Dickens, Homer, William Shatner (still living) was there as well oddly enough, and three of the writers who penned Shakespeare’s plays. Fortunately for Jared, his parents and step parents—writers, all four—had given him the traditional “Gooble gobble, one of us” celebration on his twentieth birthday, thus formally indoctrinating him. Living in Dallas with his beautiful wife Isabelle and genius daughter Sofia, he fulfills his obligation to those spirits and Captain Kirk to this day.
