She was already bi-lingual by the age of two; Spanish was her folks dominant language and she managed to become fluent in English too. Even though the neighborhood has changed, folks have moved on and the new arrivals have settled in, there is a feeling of excitement; there's something in the air. These are difficult times for so many of us. The news keeps affirming the bad news, and not much else. I guess I could stop watching the news, but I have a need to know what's going on or "what's not happening. I do pray a lot, having faith that God has a good plan for this country.
