The dream

She woke up screaming, it was that same dream. Everything started black, and then there was the blinding light, as white as fresh fallen snow. And then she would hear it, a sweet melody, slowly getting quieter as the light grew brighter, until it was but a whisper. Worst of all was what came next, a peaceful silence, followed by a piercing scream, so mournful and terrifying that it echoed in her for the rest of the day.She longed for someone to hold her, just let her know it would be ok, but…See More

Glimmer

How do you describe the distorted image reflected on the water's surface? Can it be compared to reality or is it more of a wish?Maybe wishing to see the wonders of reality bend and twist in such mesmorising shapes.Logically it is just the wind and light playing tricks, but to one's mind it can be a sign or a longing.Maybe a longing to sparkle with as much beautyor to achieve love with a single glimmering wave. What if you could join them? Burn

Flames licked at the clouds, turning the sky an ashen gray. I ran as fast as my legs would take me, praying I'd left all the gasoline behind. That was always the risk and each time I got a little more careless, but that was the fun. I guess this time was just too much. I didn't see it coming until it was too late; until I felt the searing heat and heard the sizzle of my skin. This time I was the one burning and I have to say; not as cool as I expected.

Ease

You can go anywhere with the click of a button. We've seen more because we know more, we know more because the world has so much to offer. Though not all is still necessary; the candle is no longer a needed resource. Now everything is available with a click. Talking out loud is no longer needed. Life comes in a box.

Melted Daydreams

It sits in a locked room, staring out the window. It's a reminder to all, of the unreachable. Its carved, colourful wings allow one's mind to soar elsewhere. That is, until another snowflake blocks their view. Transported back to the cold winter days. Freezing the daydream into another block of snow.
