Out the door too fast, only just caught BBC World Service by the edge.
Presenter Catherine Campbell-Collins (her accent so crisp and clipped it hurt),
briskly dispatched the days first headlines.
“Twister leaves twelve dead in Oklahoma, more to follow.”
My somewhat inattentive and dyslexic self thought she said “Twitter.”

On the weekend just past I watched the trailer for a big studio animated version of Roald Dahl’s “Fantastic Mr. Fox” directed by Wes Anderson. I have always enjoyed Dahl’s childrens stories, and Mr. Fox remains a favorite. The voice talent is most impressive with the likes of George Clooney, Jason Schwartzman, Meryl Streep, and Willem Dafoe.

After an entire morning online ogling via Google-ing killer fast high end laptops,
a decisive no nonsense move on my part was needed.
An aluminum bodied 17 inch Mac was calling my name just so sweet and so sure,
but playing is smooth and coy was a sexy matte-black HP (with mail in rebate offer!).
Best thing to do was call a well-off hardware junkie friend I’ve know since Commodore
128 days, he’d nudge me into something extravagant with reckless… Continue
