About Me:
I'm 31, married, an engineer, and a part-time (I have no time) writer. I like writing fiction; short stories mostly, but I'm bashing out the first chapters of a novel. I'm a Christian, which is a foundation of all my writing, but rarely the topic I write.

I have a blog called "Surge Bin", which is a bit of a flash fiction outlet. I also accept challenges there.

I don't hate this site, I just hated this challenge (meant in good spirit)
and I am easily mortified when I misspell, so seriously, thankyou.

Hey you,
I'm writing on your wall write now. It will show up on the main page as a 'comment' (actually this one won't because I turned off the 'announce to the world you said something' ...thing. If someone comes here to your wall, they can read it all. Anyways, private messages you can compose or recieve up at your inbox and of course the instant message at the bottom of the screen. I've been reading your work here on 6s. Just haven't commented much due to recent goings on. Really glad you are here. I remember reading somewhere you lean right which is really nice to find. There aren't many of us creative folk who lean that way.

"waited incessantly" moves waiting from the passive to the active. It works well in this context, I think.

I love the pace of this. To me, it's challenging to have, readable, pace in six sentences. You did this with confident mastery. You're writing is the first cousin to mine.

Good post, Erin. I've also put my thoughts on what I learned from this in a post called The Richard Ridyard Affair.
