I knew about Pushcart Press but I did not know about this delightful place. There's always something about honor system stores that make you want to be generous, isn;t there? The honor system tomato truck in Alliance, Ala., is the same way.

This tiny bookstore, billed as the world's smallest, is located in Sedgwick, Maine.  It is the home of the Pushcart Awards, given to writers who publish in the little, non-commercial magazines.  If you buy a book there, you leave what you think you owe.  No one monitors the store.  A great little place.  Of course I bought a book and left more than my share.
