Gita, panfish fried up right out of the water is a pure delicacy. Love to!

This is somehow warm and cool simultaneously.  I like to think about the water lapping against the side of a boat, and the different world below the surface that you reveal to us here.  Better than live, in a way, since we are free to study the details for as long as we like.  Thank you for sharing this image.

Harry harry harry -- next spring, when the dogwoods are in bloom, you and me and some minnows and cane poles for sure!!  I like to soak crappie in buttermilk before dredging them.  Can we call it a date?

Amazing, the millions of differences you see in these two. The one on the right looks like an old lag I knew in the pool halls...

Thanks, y'all. This little canvas is one of my favorites.

I'd like to tie a little poppin bug to the line of a cane pole and drop it just out of frame over the top left corner.
Beauty, Mike!

I've caught both versions -- the black and the white -- but my favorite is the golden. That is to say, when they've been battered and fried. Nice work!

This provokes a variety of feelings, including a sort of cool relaxation that is very welcome on a Monday morning.  The title highlights the contrast of color and the fact that they're portrayed as overlapping and visually linked.  As usual, your work has a great deal of depth that is not apparent on first glance.
