I have several favorite lines from movies, and forgive me for any inaccuracies but here are a few:

Out of Africa~Now I know why God made the world round, so we can't see too far down the road.

~When the gods want to punish us, they answer our prayers.

Titanic:  ~(Kate Winslet's character says as she looks at original Picasso paintings), "It's like looking at a dream - there's truth but no logic."

~(She says to Leonardo DiCaprio's character regarding their relationship), "It makes no sense; that's why I trust it."

What movie lines have moved YOU?

Another all-time favorite chock full of goodies: The Outlaw Josie Wales.  Chief Dan George's delivery is really what sold these gems. (Paraphrased, probably.)

"The white men told us 'endeavor to persevere.'  We thought about that, and when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the white man."

"I didn't surrender, neither.  But they took my horse and made him surrender."

"A Good Year"

Max Skinner on choosing an item from the menu..."I would like a lifetime spent with an irrational and suspicious goddess, some short-tempered jealousy on the side, and a bottle of wine that tastes like you, a glass that's never empty."

and..."Forgive my lips. They find joy in the most unusual places."

"Under the Tuscan Sun"

"Regrets are a waste of time. They're the past crippling you in the present."

What are four walls, anyway? They are what they contain. The house protects the dreamer. Unthinkably good things can happen, even late in the game. It's such a surprise.

"Ha cha cha cha" by Jimmy Durante in many of his performances and his chant in his song, Inka Dinka Doo, first performed in Palooka, 1934 when he was told he can't sing.
“There’s only two men I trust. One of ‘em’s me, the other one’s not you”.  ~ Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage) in Con Air

My favorite line from my all time favorite movie is

Movie...Taken

Actor...Liam Neesom

"I will look for you

"I will find you

"I will kill you

EXcellent movie...wish it wasn't so brutal though...
Liam is an outstanding actor. I've watched it three times and I get so caught up  in it,  my heart almost pounds out of my chest.
“You’re talking about the American Dream. You find something you love then you twist it. You torture it; trying to find a way to make money at it. You spend a lifetime doing that. And at the end, you can’t find a trace of what you started out loving…"  Harry Connick Jr. (Justin Matisse) in Hope Floats

"I don't think that word means what you think it means."  The Princess Bride

"My name is Inigo Montoya.  You kill my father.  Prepare to die."  again, The Princess Bride

Aaaas yooooouuuu wiiiiiiiish.................

And the Prince's answer:  "Stop saying that!!"
"next time give me a paper cut and pour some lemon juice on it"

I thought 'Leon' was one of the all time great thrillers, with Jean Reno, Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman.  A great line from Gary Oldman's truly demented cop (he is so good at playing demented off the wall characters...).

"Death is... whimsical... today."
