I pitched this in a post, but am repeating it here. I've got a microphone and am trying out some MP3 recording programs. Often I find myself reading six-sentence stories out loud, both testing how I read and how strong the words are. Would anybody be okay with me recording their stories? I'd upload them and post them just in the Comments section of those given stories. I find it very useful to hear how other people think your work sounds. Maybe other people have mics and would like to try it as well. It could add another dimension to Six Sentences as a writing community, and I think we're warm enough here that it can be handled in friendly fashion.
If you're down for having recorded whatever of your work somebody wants to record, say so in the Three Pieces of Business (
http://sixsentences.ning.com/profiles/blogs/three-items-of-business ) or this forum thread. It wouldn't be right to start performing anybody's at will, but it would be incredibly annoying to wait for requests and consent after every interesting story. So here's the medium - you give your name, your work is open game. If at some time you write something you don't want to hear others lend voice to, simply say so.
