Sure, let's try this out! I've been denied from 365tomorrows a couple of times.

My favorite is http://www.gwthomas.org/flashshotindex.htm, and not merely because they've accepted me more than any other site. You read things there you are likely to never see anywhere else. Also get some of the most open-minded visitors to your own place of wiritng by referral.

http://www.vestalreview.net/ is one to shoot for when you've really refined yourself. Same goes for http://www.wingedhalo.com/flashme.html, though they are more receptive to Fantasy and related topics.

Will have a story on http://shortstory.us.com/ in mid-April...

And another here http://www.alienskinmag.com/main.htm I particularly recommend reading and trying Alien Skin for newer writers. They are very supportive of them.
The project lasted from 2000 to 2003, and is over now, but the-phone-book.com published a couple of my stories. Want to read them? Do ya, huh? Do ya?

Kathy Gabriel's stories

Here's their intro page where they tell a bit about the project. It was really a new thing when it began, and I loved it.

about the-phone-book.com
I've always enjoyed Pindeldyboz. ("Stories that defy classification" is their tagline.) They go back a long way.
"Another of your forum posts seemed to indicate an interest in horror and the like..."

Truth be told, I really like all of it; I am highly eclectic. I would like to see 6S be a veritable smorgasbord of all genres and forms: six sentence essays, political commentaries, reviews, sci-fi, spiritual, Christian, conservative, liberal, etc. I would love to see 6S become a huge melting pot! I am just tying to figure out if everything is welcome or if there is a particular emphasis?
thanks for the info. :)
MicroHorror.com is a good one.
Thank you all for the info.
I like 50 to 1. Either submit a story of exactly 50 words or a really fantastic first line. It has to be accepted. A few months ago, I had a first line published.

I put a few stories to this site,

http://thepygmygiant.wordpress.com/

but two I would recommend (very moving) are:

April 2009 Like Riding a Bike by Colette Coen

June 2008 Starlight Star Bright by Avis Hickman

Both little gems.
365Tomorrows is my personal favorite so far, but I also host my own little wordpress.

Fictionette@wordpress

It's less than a month active so I've only got one guest piece, and submission isn't currently open. But it will be soon, so if you write Speculative Flash fiction of Contemporary Fantasy pieces, hold on to them and get ready to send them in!

As for the rest of these sites, I'm upset now because I have way more reading ahead of me. Thanks guys.
