What can YOU say in six sentences?

A few days back my best friend told me that he will be changing his school. My response: I broke down, I was shattered. I decided to close my eyes to reality and live in my own magical world where we were still together, happy and my life was the same as ever. But two days back when we met, he let me see the world through his eyes. It was wonderful, it was a happy place again. He took me into his arms and kissed my forehead gently saying that no distance can separate us and no girl can take your place. And then for the next hour we slow danced to the most amazing romantic songs. It was then that I realized that being in the same class, or school did not matter as long as I was wearing his heart and as long as he loved me. We share a terrific relationship together. Last night again we talked at the dead of the night for 3 whole hours, we cried together, and we laughed together, we teased each other and after wiping each other's tears we confessed that we loved each other. We both slept with a smile on our lips and woke up with a hanger in our mouths. :) Today he gifted me a watch and said 'I don't know if you really like the color but I couldn't find anything else.' I wish I could hold my tears back so that I could tell him that what else could be a better gift than a watch. A watch which made me reminisce all the good days we spent together, a watch which symbolized that he was giving me his time and more than that a watch which gave me the patience to wait for the man I loved.

P.S : Attached is a song I wrote for him.

Smriti- I know the importance of the late night conversations. I know the feeling of that first close dance. I know the immutable memory of that one kiss. But a watch!!! What was he thinking? Not even a "promise ring?" Come on dude! You can do better than this with our young heroine. Okay, I get the metaphor about time "on hand" and time "ticking away" but no Seiko or Timex or even a Roley is gonna' replace the sentiment of that first ring-a-ding-ding. A watch is cool and a very nice thing... but nothing says lovin' like the good ol' bling. (See how you got me involved with your piece, Smitri? Nice job!) -Dude

Hey, thanks for appreciating, and i know what you mean, but you see we people are not earning so watch means a lot to me, and plus he is a real nice guy, and he really promised me without a ring. thanks i would ask him for a ring as soon as he starts earning.
