MIND GAMES Update! And the June SIX OF THE MONTH!
Hi Everyone! I’ve got SOME SERIOUSLY COOL NEWS, and some SEMI-LAME NEWS!
Okay, first, the SEMI-LAME News...
Due to the overwhelming response to the "MIND GAMES" contest, it's gonna take another week to determine which stories will appear in the collection, and which story will take home the Grand Prize! The volume & quality of the submissions is literally OUT OF CONTROL. But you have my word - the big announcement will be on FRIDAY, JULY 16th. Stay tuned for updates!!!
(Does the delay count as a Mind Game? Ouch. I guess so!)
And now for the SERIOUSLY COOL NEWS!
In the past, only the sixes on the original site were eligible to win the “SIX OF THE MONTH” Award. NOW, the sixes on the 6S Social Network are also eligible to win! (FINALLY!!!) So here’s how it works: Just CLICK HERE to nominate 2 sixes you feel are deserving of the June 2010 “Six of the Month” Award. (If you think you’ve written a six that deserves the title, feel free to nominate yourself.) The top 6 vote-getters will be assembled and presented to the entire community for the ultimate deciding vote. The Grand Prize this time will be quite JUICY.
TO BE ELIGIBLE: The nominated six MUST have appeared on the original site (blogspot) or The 6S Social Network (ning) on or between June 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010. Once again, CLICK HERE to nominate your 2 favorite pieces!
