What can YOU say in six sentences?
I think doing an MFA in Creative Writing is a good project for those who want to teach creative writing and secure a job when there are vacancies in some universities. But if someone wants to write and feels that he/she has to sharpen his/her creative talents the only gateway is reading and writing. Besides, we all know that the best writers in the world read more than they write.

some colleges have correspondence based and you only have to actually hit campus one or twice a year.
Vermont College of Fine Arts has a ten day residency program.
I don't have an MFA but a woman in my critique group did a low residency program at Bennington College and loved it. She work very hard, though, while holding a full time job and with a husband and kids.
