What can YOU say in six sentences?

our own walter conley has created and edits an amazing 'zine, disenthralled.

he will continue to put forth a monthly issue (do check out this month if you haven't done so yet) and in addition will publish specials, focused on one subject or one writer or photographer.

special #1, featuring the story "Arkansas" by Kristen Michelle Håvet and photography by Paul Dutra, is now up, and it is a corker!

walter has added a few notes to the submissions page and a link to our group on facebook.

This first special contains only a single written piece and photo.

Aspiring writers: Read it once to enjoy the story, then go back through to catch the beauty and clarity of expression.

Comments are appreciated.

Each issue gets better and better. Walter maintains deadlines, he works like mad to promote, edit and soothe the writers and artists that are part of the 'zine, past, present and future. No b.s., no rhetoric, no expectations for those artists to do more than the thing we love to do.... be creative.

And stress. We like to stress.

Please--go. look. read. comment. contribute. You'll be glad you did.

issue #2 is up and running!! it includes works by jodi macarthur, allie dresser, len kuntz, jeffery callico, amy kelly, bruce brown (no relation!), and me.

the wicked good pieces of prose and poetry are highlighted by the intense photography of paul dutra, all of it blended together to make a tasty read by our own walter conley.

read. submit work. leave comments, if you would.
