Too often a great piece gets by me, especially when I don't visit the site as often as I'd like.  So much to read, so little time, and the unforgiving momentum of the posts on the main page...

Every once in a while, when you do have some time (and feel like browsing), I encourage you to skim our archives, pick something out you missed, and share its link right here in this Forum post.  (It'll be like happening upon buried treasures within our always-expanding 6S beach.)  If I may, allow me to kick things off with a piece by Kori Dremow called "Growing Up," which appeared on the site on May 27, 2011.  Enjoy.

GREAT idea!  My pick for today is Sentimental Autum Ode # 5038by Bill Floyd.

I am so glad you called this one to our attention.  I had somehow missed it and it is beautiful.

Just finished reading the last thirty blogs by Rod Drake. I think a reader will enjoy anything he's written, but especially The Elephant in the Room or The Rotten One. It's hard to choose one best buried treasure in his case.

Rod helped put 6S on the map with his consistent stunners.  Always a treat.

Hard to choose one between these two.  Rod has a great imagination.

Lost gem: "K." by Mona.

I remembered this one!

This writer was posting before I joined 6S and I'd never read her before you encouraged us to mine the archives.

I loved the idea that poetry and protest co-exist in Buenos Aires.

Incredible.  I hope everyone checks this out.

Good idea Rob! Here's one I always liked:

That was great.

This brought me back to 6S, Angela's comment on my post!
And I just wrote my first 6 in near 2 years.

About time, 'eh?
