Permalink Reply by Louise on June 2, 2008 at 12:34am: You're right. Goober is a great funny word! For a mastiff owner, goobers are usually about 8 inches long, hanging from each jowl. I try really hard to wipe them before they become flingers (self explanatory). The little pieces of ick that are trapped in them are called floaters. Sometimes I wonder if the floaters are from dinners consumed weeks or months before, but I certainly hope not.; ▶ Reply to This
